Edra is an award winning published hair and make-up artist. Edra is a multi licensed cosmetologist/educator and a medical aesthetician. Education, experience and knowledge are the foundation and core of her brand, which supports a wide spectrum in the bridal beauty and aesthetic industry.

Edra has focused her experience and talent on creating luxurious, seamless and immaculate bridal/hair make-up designs, working closely with the bride ensuring they fully complement the dress and aesthetics of their wedding.

Edra has extensive experience and knowledge of both western style and South Asian weddings making her a leader in the industry as a bridal fusion HMUA artist. Ranging from classic Hollywood waves, boho chic bride to the detailed culture of preparing a South Asian Bride. She is extremely passionate about her work. She has a single focus on working closely with all her brides, who are her number one priority.

Edra, a beauty visionary artist is widely recognized as a leading bridal HMUA within the wedding beauty industry. Her unique style and cutting-edge look place her at the forefront of her industry, which has led to her featuring in a range of top publications including the front covers of Chicago Style Wedding Magazine, Gmaro Magazine, Alpha Magazine and Luxury Modern Brides.

Edra´s journey started in Chicago working at the famous Mario Tricoci salon where she became artistic director, representing the salon in fashion shows, editorial shoots and national events. Edra was also responsible for training all the upcoming stylists on cutting and styling under the MT training program. Edra quickly won a number of awards and rapidly built a reputation as an innovative designer, known as ¨The Updo Queen¨.

An entrepreneur noted for her passion about bridal beauty preparation experience, Edra’s visionary concepts have helped transform the bridal industry. It is this unique vision that has resulted in her owning a number of businesses helping to elevate the bridal industry to a new level. Edra was the owner and founder of the formerly known Edra Couture Salon & Day Spa in West Dundee, IL where brides had a luxury experience of salon and spa services to prepare them for their pre-wedding events and day of beauty services.

Following her relocation to Boston from Chicago in 2020. Edra continued to build her vision on her success, launching ECB in 2021, a dynamic on-site HMUA Team to support the on-site bridal hair make-up services. Within two years she has built a luxury team that supports numerous weddings throughout Boston and New England.

Edra’s new concept, The Bridal Prep Room, launched in 2024, was intentionally scaled on creating a luxury bridal preparation suite that brides could book exclusively to host their wedding preparations.

The BPR is a cozy and luxury bridal suite, where brides can have a relaxing experience and is exclusively theirs to book for their bridal party, to enjoy bubbly mimosas and memorable wedding experiences in a private setting with instagram worthyphotos. The brides will coordinate with their own chosen beauty team or have an option to book our sister company ECB for exclusive offers.

Edra is a committed educator and mentor who believes that dynamic inspiration and cohesiveness to design exists only within a team, and is only developed through consistent education and reality based training, together with her committed and professional HMUA team she continues to produce outstanding work within the bridal beauty business. Having a HMUA team allows additional support for larger weddings, time management and more opportunities for brides to book under the brand of ECB.

Edra has a mixed heritage of Dominican, Venezuelan and Indian, giving her a unique insight into what her clients want and has increased her passion for seeking out diverse bridal clients. Edra has cultivated an exquisite portfolio of deferential cultures and ethnic backgrounds, Edra strongly believes that knowledge and craftsmanship should be available to all cultures and nationalities, and every woman should have the beauty experience they love.
