Coastal chic in Chapoquoit Island

Welcome to Tegan and Brett’s picture perfect wedding on the family beach in Cape Cod. We had the pleasure of being part of this wedding in 2022 and wanted to share more of it with you. Edra and her team were present on the day to do Tegan and her bridesmaid’s bridal hair and
make up.

All the girls got ready in the family home in Chapoquoit Island that oozed coastal chic with driftwood and shell treasures picked from the beach. Tegan and Brett chose to marry on the beach in front of the property and styled their big day to compliment the oceanfront venue.

The day was full of love and laughter and started in the family kitchen with Tegan in an ivory silk robe and her best girls in matching teal pyjamas. As Edra and the team set their hair in curls the bridal party set around the coffee table laughing and playing Uno. The sun shone as the Coordinator Nicole and her team set up the ceremony on the beach just steps away from the
house.

A laid back yet glamorous wedding

For her wedding day hair, Tegan chose gentle curls that perfectly coordinated with her glamorous Monique Lhuillier dress. The sweeping, strapless gown was a luxurious all over lace style with a pale pink lining. Tegan’s hair was finished with a cathedral length tulle veil. Edra completed the wedding day look with a natural and elegant makeup look. The overall look was elegant and glamorous and the perfect choice for the day.

Tegan’s six adult bridesmaids wore their hair down and loose in waves and curls. Their dresses continued the laid back glamorous wedding style with each person wearing a different style in a variation of blues and florals. The look was tied together with matching shoes. The flower girls wore the most adorable blue floral smocked dresses.

Tegan chose unstructured and textured wedding flowers of dahlias, anemone, stocks, ranunculus and eucalyptus tied with coloured ribbons. The beautiful flowers complimented the bridal fashion looks perfectly and added another layer of pretty.

An altar on the beach, drinks and dancing

The pretty wedding flower theme was carried through the wedding including the beach with a beautiful wooden altar adorned with flowers set up for the wedding ceremony. Guests took a seat on benches sat on the sand with an unparalleled ocean view. When it was time to walk
down the aisle, the sun shone and Tegan beamed. She met Brett and his best men looking handsome in navy blue suits and brown shoes. After the officiant pronounced them husband and wife the wedding guests cheered and the new Mr and Mrs Sousa danced back down the aisle.

The relaxed and elegant day continued into the evening with dinner and dancing in the backyard and beach. Max Ultimate Foods and Steve Memmolo made sure the wedding guests were entertained and the newly married couple danced with the sun setting on the ocean and their family and friends all around them.
